Hot Springs, Ark - Neva Harper, 86, formerly of 1304 W. Main St died at 1:20 a.m. Friday in Lakewood Nursing Home, Hot Springs, Ark. Mrs. Harper was a school teacher in Montgomery County for 37 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star at Crawfordsville. She was a graduate of Waynetown High School. She was born March 25, 1903, at Waynetown to Edward and Minnie Meek Kemp. She married Thomas C. Harper on Dec 25, 1926. He died on June 30, 1978. Surviving are a sn, Charles Thomas of Los Angeles, Calif; a sister, Mary Jane Zuck of Birmingham, Ala; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 6:-8:30 pm. Saturday at the funeral home. - kbz
